It All Started with a Love of Woodworking, Real Estate &Renovations...

With a Bachelors degree in Furniture Production, and a Masters degree in Forestry from the University College of North Wales, UK, Sean has always been a lover of nature, trees, and wood, with a natural talent of working with his hands since he was a child. He spent many years designing and building custom cabinetry and bespoke furniture for specialty clients. Along with these passions was also the love of real estate, but not just in the selling of houses, in recognizing how many neglected homes simply needed a little love through thoughtful home remodeling!

This love led him and his wife, Heather, to flip houses together for several years learning the true art (and the true grit!) of house flipping that is not shown on TV.  From complete demo remodels to home staging and design, they loved transforming forgotten properties back into beautiful homes for others to enjoy for many years to come. Sean developed a unique ability to see the potential in a new space, which is a major asset to understanding a client's vision for creating custom pieces that will absolutely transform their current home.

From developing and running her own catering business in Philadelphia, to managing a spectrum of boutique to large scale nationwide corporate events, Heather has always felt very comfortable working with various levels of clients, vendors, budgets and deadlines to ensure successful outcomes. With a degree and background in Business Management and Marketing/Hospitality, she has always had a keen eye for detail, especially in event design. The passion that she brings from the hospitality world translates into a focus on the client's needs while helping bridge the communication gap between contractors, designers, clients and other industry vendors to ensure every project runs smoothly from conceptualization to installation. She also excels at visually guiding clients when they are unsure of where to go with a project, so they feel both proud of and comfortable in their beautiful new space.

For Sean and Heather, it has always seemed like a natural fit working together. They truly enjoy bringing their combined passions and skills of custom woodworking, design ideas, and project management to clients who are looking to elevate their space!

*Be sure to follow us as we continue our journey of expansion into full home renovations for clients with reSHIFT renovations. We believe that having a vision for what a space 'could be', is and always has been the most important part of what we do!  We not only love working directly on projects together, but enjoy stretching and (re)shifting each others minds to see beyond what is right in front of us. We walk our clients through the entire renovation process step-by-step, starting from conceptualization, to layout and design, to the building of their remodel plans...and we try to have fun along the way!
